So, about us … I’ve lived in Bemidji since 1998 with my wife, Heidi, who is a nurse. We are the proud parents of two absolutely wonderful kids.

I grew up in the small northwestern Minnesota farming community of Ada. Upon graduation from high school in 1992, I attended Bemidji State where I received my degree in journalism. I then accepted a position in Brainerd as a sports writer/columnist/copy editor, but when a similar job opened in Bemidji, I immediately leapt at the opportunity to return.

In 2001, I began selling advertising. Now, after five years of selling, I have decided to step out on my own with a new venture, forming Snowshark Publications, which publishes Best of Bemidji Quarterly Magazine.

So, tell me, now that you’ve seen most of the magazine, what are your thoughts? Is there anything you would like to see in future editions that was not included in this one? Any input you would be willing to provide is greatly appreciated.
